It aims to streamline the distribution of Rations (essential food items) to beneficiaries by delivering them directly to their homes.

Paddy Procurement The state government started procuring paddy from farmers through the Food Supplies Department, particularly for the small and marginal farmers, to ensure a Minimum Support Price (MSP) for them and run Public Distribution System (WBPDS) under the Khadyasathi Scheme. For this scheme, the Food Supplies Department collects paddy from every block of West Bengal. People can register and sell their paddy on the epaddy.wb.gov.in website.
